Plan for traffic Tues. Nov 8 - Sun. Nov 13
Thanks to Laura Tefft for the info:
It would be a good idea to recommend that parents allow much extra time for commuting to and from Waikiki school. It's recommended that travelers access Waikiki either via Kapahulu Avenue or via Kilauea/Monsarrat Avenues. Several bus routes will also be detoured onto Kapahulu Avenue. The general word on the street is that Kapahulu is the recommended route in and out of Waikiki, so we'll need to plan ahead!
The second link illustrates the Kapahulu recommendation.

Multiply your Support!
During the month of September, the Give Aloha program will match your donations to our wonderful Waikiki School!
It's easy. Go into any Foodland, Sack 'N Save, or Foodland Farms and at the checkout ask to make a donation to Waikiki School (code 77703 - don't worry they can look it up for you). Please bring a copy of the receipt in to the PTO box in the office so that we may track your donation.
Foodland and Western Union will match your donation up to 100% during the month of September. So hurry! Make your money work overtime!
